About Guruvayoor
The Bhooloka Vaikundam — and everything around it.
Guruvayoor is one of the most visited Krishna temples in India, known for its muhurtham weddings, thulabharam offerings and the Krishnanattam dance-drama performed inside the temple. Chandana Inn stands on the Outer Ring Road at North Nada, a short walk from the eastern entrance.
Daily poojas & darshan timings
The nada opens at 3:00 am and closes around 9:15 pm, with five poojas and three seeveli processions carrying the Lord's thidambu on elephant-back. On Udayasthamana pooja days there are twenty-one poojas.
Timings are approximate and may change on Udayasthamana pooja or special occasions. A special queue is available for senior citizens.
